| Foundation's Aims: | Rehabilitation of released prisoners by encouraging them to become more Jewishly committed. Keren Hateshuva seeks to identify prisoners who have been affected by religious rehabilitation and commences supportive involvement with them after their release. Hostel is a one year post-release program which is based on the model of the half-way house. Those in the program work during the day and study Torah in the evening. The staff includes a number of former prisoners who have been rehabilitated in this way. Others receive financial aid and follow-up support to maintain a sense of connection to the community. |
